Villa Pleijsier

A small forester’s dwelling once stood at the new villa’s current location.

The zoning plan provided little room for a larger building. The average gutter height was determined from the adjacent surface level. Therefore, the choice was made to realise a gutter height of zero at certain spots for the new development; the surface level is raised locally and the gutter bends down to the ground locally.

The whole forms an organically shaped building in the colours and materials of the surroundings. A light-green roof coincides with the light-green background of the woods.
